Graphic Designer

This position is responsible for researching, creating and iterating inspiring design in both digital and print formats (80% digital and 20% print) that support Delve’s client base and internal B2B marketing strategy. You’ll be a key part of Delve’s creative team reporting to the Creative Director, supporting both client creative initiatives across digital, and Delve’s marketing team by helping to tell Delve’s story and establish us as thought leaders in a growing sector. This position is based in Boulder, Colorado.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

  • Gathering information and materials to support content creation and design
  • Planning concepts by studying information and materials
  • Advising the marketing team on good options for the expression of concepts
  • Illustrating concepts by designing layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
  • Design online advertising creative assets based on needs of the client and media team as directed by the Creative Director
  • Responsively iterates designs as directed by Creative Director and marketing team members
  • Archiving your designs and concepts, and maintaining those archive

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Design of digital advertising campaigns following client brand guidelines
  • Design of marketing campaigns/concepts and supporting assets creation for internal marketing team
  • Image resourcing, creating color palettes and design elements
  • Producing relevant and modern up to date designs
  • Collaborating with other team members on editorial calendar with an eagle eye to meet design deadlines
  • Creating and maintaining archives of all designed content
  • Working with internal teams and agencies in the US and Europe
  • Reviewing competitor and customer designs and brand expression to maintain awareness of our market; staying up to date on design trends in social/digital media


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Design/Marketing/Creative or equivalent experience (or the experience and chops to show us why that’s not important)
  • 1-5 years of experience creating work for a range of UI platforms (web, desktop, mobile)
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and Keynote
  • Experience in digital and print design with a portfolio of work that includes examples of digital ads, web design, and print design (conceptual design a plus)
  • You are a stickler for brand consistency regardless of platform
  • You are a self-starter and can work with little direction when needed
  • You must have knowledge and examples of designed landing pages and digital ads
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects; agency or corporate experience a big plus
  • Ability to create original designs for print collateral (brochures, 1-pagers)
  • Strong collaboration skills, and ability to work seamlessly with people in both the US and Europe
  • Capable of receiving creative direction and accepting feedback
  • Minimal copywriting skills are a huge plus… headlines & subheads for digital display campaign deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent time management skills
