UNICEF USA is one of those partnerships that inspire us, and every year we are proud to donate 10% of our 2019 search fees back to this incredible organization.

About UNICEF USA

UNICEF USA (The United Nations Children’s Fund) provides life-saving resources to children all over the world. UNICEF USA workers mobilize in countries such as Syria, Central America, and Bangladesh, and they provide life-saving vaccinations and outreach and prevention of diseases like HIV/AIDS and Ebola. UNICEF USA is also the world’s largest purchaser of ready to use therapeutic food, which holds the ability to bring children suffering from acute malnutrition back to a healthy status. In addition to the above initiatives, UNICEF USA provides on-the-ground support during natural disasters and war conflict. 
Within the United States, UNICEF USA fights to end human trafficking, eliminate tetanus worldwide, and partner with schools throughout the nation during Halloween to raise money through the Trick-Or-Treat for UNICEF USA program.

DELVE and UNICEF USA: Heart Behind Data

UNICEF USA partnered with us to create a campaign that would bring in new donors and retain current donors. First, we unified and integrated all of their data into a single source of truth, creating a clear picture of the UNICEF USA donor’s journey from first click to making a donation. Then, we implemented an integrated measurement strategy for the full customer journey tracking, including omni-channel attribution in the Google Marketing Platform and Google Cloud Platform. The result? A 10% increase in new donors and more efficient overall marketing with a 200% ROAS. 

We used tools such as Google Analytics 360, and Display And Video 360 to segment audiences and ensure that content delivered from Display and Video 360 remained personally relevant, with consistent messaging supporting the interests of UNICEF USA top donors. DELVE’s Head of Media, Anton Lipkanu, describes how Google Marketing Platform supports UNICEF USA.
